Pop Giants - James Bond
The most British of all secret agents is celebrating an anniversary: after a long Corona delay, the 25th James Bond is finally coming out this year. And with it the 25th James Bond song.
It doesn't matter whether it's Shirley Bassey, Madonna or Paul McCartney, who sings the next Bond song is always a big hype. And the fact that 19-year-old Billie Eilish is allowed to do it for the 25th anniversary shows once again that the Bond makers always follow the latest trends and are usually right.
This time, our interview guests also include German actors who have acted in the Bond films and can therefore report first-hand on what's going on on the set. Brigitte Millar, known as Dr. Vogel from "Spectre", Ludger Pistor, who plays the Swiss banker Mendel in "Casino Royal", and Detlef Bothe, who is gangster Otto in "Spectre", give special insights.
But the music is in the foreground. What makes the perfect Bond song? What do our VIPs think about one or the other not entirely successful decision, and who is their absolute favourite?
Also present this time are Bond expert and author Danny Morgenstern, the Swedish almost-Bond girl and dancer Isabel Edvardsson, Janine Kunze, Anastasia Zampounidis and Nilz Bokelberg.
