Staying Alive - The spectacular story of the Bee Gees

They have sold over 200 million records worldwide and, according to the Guinness Book of Records, are the most successful family band in the world: The Bee Gees. The album by the three brothers Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb for the film of the same name "Saturday Night Fever" from 1977 sold 15 million copies in the USA and not only gave them three number 1 hits in a row, but also four Grammy Awards. To this day they are among the most successful and prolific songwriters of the 20th century. The Bee Gees had their first TV appearance in Australia in 1960. To mark this 60th anniversary, VOX will be showing the documentary event "STAYIN' ALIVE - THE SPECTACULAR STORY OF THE BEE GEES" on June 6 at 8:15 p.m. Exclusively for the Cologne broadcaster, Barry Gibb embarks on a journey through time in the four-hour documentary and looks back on his family and band history in a very personal interview, based on private film material, among other things.
