The documentary "This is what Germany sounds like - The greatest love songs" takes viewers on an emotional journey through more than 60 years of music history with the greatest love songs from Whitney Houston to Ed Sheeran, Beyoncé, Robbie Williams, Guns N' Roses to Revolverheld and Silvermoon.
The documentary promises an evening full of musical highlights, complemented by funny anecdotes, intimate confessions and beautiful and bizarre stories about the songs. With over 40 of the greatest love songs, current hits and unforgettable classics are presented that accompany our lives and remind us of the most beautiful and intimate moments in it.
Another highlight of the documentary is the private insights into the love stories of prominent married couples. They open their hearts, talk openly about love, suffering and passion and tell us what their soundtrack of love sounds like. Included are Kate Hall and Detlef Soost, Patricia Kelly and Denis Sawinkin, Shari and André Dietz as well as Eko Fresh and Sarah Bora.
Additionally, people from all walks of life open their hearts and share their personal connections to the love songs. From the flight attendant to the nurse to the craftsman: Germany has its say and we find out what music the country loves.
