Boycotts, Escalations, and Scandals (RTL):
What would music history be without its scandals? Madonna's video for "Like a Prayer" shocked religious America, Marilyn Manson's persona was a scandal in itself, and R. Kelly's fall from grace was unparalleled by any superstar before him.
The documentary Boycotts, Escalations & Scandals – Music for Eternity looks back at the most sensational scandals in the music world from the 1980s to the present day, with the support of prominent figures. In exclusive interviews, music expert Markus Kavka recounts his experiences at the scandalous Woodstock 1999 festival, former BRAVO editor-in-chief Alex Gernandt discusses his sex interview with Madonna, former MTV presenter Anastasia Zampounidis tells how Robbie Williams exposed his bare bottom to her, and Aleksandra Bechtel shares her experiences with the exploited Backstreet Boys. They are supported by singer Jeanette Biedermann, TV presenter Patrice Bouédibéla, artist manager Anja Lukaseder-Karl and presenters Katja Burkard and Ingolf Lück.
