The occasion is the release of the single "Life Is A Party" in 1978, the first sound carrier with a lead vocal by Whitney Houston. The four-hour documentary describes the musical career of the successful singer and shows some recordings from her concert and private life that have never been shown before, excerpts from her best, but also her most disturbing TV appearances and a total of 43 music videos.
