We are the Champions! – 40 Years Queen

With songs like "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "We Are The Champions" they wrote music history: Queen. In total, the British band consisting of singer Freddie Mercury, guitarist Brian May, drummer Roger Taylor and bassist John Deacon sold more than 300 million records worldwide in the course of their career, including 14 number one albums and with 'Greatest Hits I' they still hold the top spot today Record best-selling album in the UK. They released their first album 'Queen' in July 1973. To mark this anniversary, VOX is showing the documentary event 'We Are The Champions - 40 Years Queen'. The four-hour documentary describes the musical career of the successful band and shows some previously unreleased recordings of their more than 700 live performances and excerpts from their 58 music videos.
