They were among the most successful bands of the 1970s and wrote music history with hits like "Dancing Queen", "Mamma Mia" and "The Winner Takes It All": ABBA. To date, the Swedish band, consisting of two lovers - Björn and Agnetha and Anni-Frid and Benny - have sold well over 300 million records. The documentary event “THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC – ABBA FOREVER” produced by Maxi Media looks back on the history of the successful band on VOX.

The four-hour documentary shows what is behind the four letters ABBA: their hits, concerts, sold-out tours, millions of dollars, life as a world star and the end of the band in 1982. The topic is also the life of the band members after ABBA . The former make-up artist Ingmarie Halling, the costume designer of "ABBA" Owe Sandström, "DISCO" presenter Ilja Richter and musician Peter Maffay report on their very personal impressions.
