Pop Giants - Wolfgang Petry - To life

Wolfgang Petry's meteoric career began in 1976 with the song "Sommer in der Stadt". Years later, the musician can look back on many impressive successes: his album "Alles" has sold almost three million copies, and with over a million units sold, "The Longest Single in the World" is one of the best-selling German-language hits of all time. Hits like "Wahnsinn" and "Love, Lost, Forget, Forgive" inspire Petry's loyal fan base and sold-out tours take him through the country's biggest stadiums. In 2006, Wolfgang Petry withdrew from the music business - until he conquered number one in the charts in 2015 with his comeback album "Brandneu".

In 2017 Wolfgang Petry surprises with his "Pete Wolf Band" project and shows a whole new facet. He is fulfilling a dream by recording his first English language album entitled Happy Man.
